When a new food, wine and cocktail bar opens in the middle of Aarhus, it's not enough to have good drinks and a nice setting - you must also be able to see and feel what the place wants. This was the starting point for the collaboration with Å46, part of Aage Damgaard ApS
The atmosphere had to feel natural - like an afternoon with friends, with beautiful and tasty food and a great atmosphere. Partners like Ziropa, whose syrups give the bar's cocktails their special character, also came into play.
What was special about the project was the close collaboration. There was a shared desire to do things properly - not big and noisy, but honest, simple and with respect for the place Å46 is - and wants to be.
We didn't just want to look like a bar - we wanted to feel like a bar you want to hang out in. Not too neat, not too polished - just with that vibe that you can't put into words but recognize.
